what would you guys say is the best of the best overall in the polaris line?
which has the best gas mileage, really good acceleration, high top speed etc.
how is the X2 800 EFI? is it a gas hog compared to the others? is it slow and has a low top speed?
is there a comparision spec chart with all of these stats anywhere?
i like this one the best obviously, i like the fact of the fold up and down seat that makes a little truck bed when closed. very versitile it seems.
are polaris really the toughest and most rugged atv's out there?

yes the 800's are gas hogs. if you want awd then i would recommend the 500 efi for around performance and gas milage. just my .02

Don't forget to throw in the ....WONDERFULL SMOOTH RIDE.........I had some people on my 450 sportsman that have quads...but never rode a quad with Struts up front (up to 2007)...And I.R.S. in the rear..............They told me ......"I can't believe how smooth it is"............That's not a lie!!!!
What are they using up front now....To replace the MacPherson Struts.......I didn't see a 2007 yet!!!
Thanks.......Caper............

it looks like to me thier using the same strut caper in all th sportsman models. i would say our 450's are the best of fuel, but thier not efi.

I read somewhere that the Polaris/MacPherson strut deal was over and done(for 2007)...............No more contract!!!...........They must have worked out a deal?????......Or worked around the copyrights!!.........................Caper........ ...

is there really that much of a difference in the gas between the X2 500 EFI and the X2 800 EFI?
does anyone know the exact numbers of mpg?
what is the top speed on both of these vehicles? is the acceleration on the 500 better than the 800?
what exactly am i losing by going from a 760cc engine to a 499... a couple hundred cc is alot isnt it? i.e. power, speed, acceleration
are these machines both the same size? it seems to be that way from the pics and specs of the dimensions of the atv.

so the 800 has better acceleration then because its more powerful?
what about top speed?
8-15 does suck when it comes to mpg. 20 is much nicer and i would prefer the 500, but slow acceleration can and is a problem.
is there a smaller body size, better fitted for the 500 engine that has all or most of the same add ons and extras as the X2? i.e. mainly the second "real" seat and truck bed. this is a major thing with me.
thanks!
how do those yamaha grizzlies compare to the polaris'?

the sportsmans are all the same basic bike. differnt size tires and engine are the main differnces. if your not really into the bigest(more expensive) the 500 would do just fine. you could put a rear seat/storage box on back of a reg sportsman. as far anything esle you could buy a scramble which is more sporty but only rides one.
