VIN #'s or year stamp on 90 scrambler ?

VIN #'s or year stamp on 90 scrambler ?
Where does a person find a date code or a VIN # to tell when a scrambler 90 was made ? I got told it was like a 98' or 99' but I didn't think they made them that far back.
