Hi all

Is there anyway that the carb on my predator 50 can be tweeked to give me more power/speed as I seem to be a little on the slow side (restrictor is removed) or will it have to be a tuning kit.

I don't think playing with the carb will give you more power or speed.......Unless you buy a larger one..........Caper.....

 

I would say buy a Pred 90 LOL It'll be faster than the 50

 

Thanks for the comments looks like a 90 is on the cards unless there is a recommended tune up kit for 50s

 

What year is the 50? If it is a 2 stroke, I think you can put the front sprocket and chain off a 90, and it will give you some more top end. They geared these low, you will still have the power to turn the bigger front sprocket.

Don't quote me on this, I believe the ones on the 50 are 15 teeth, and the ones on the 90 are 18 or 19 teeth.

Go search on the Kids quads for some help, there was a guy on there that used to work in the factory that built these, and he was the one that mentioned this.
