tb 250 vs a 400 sport

Default tb 250 vs a 400 sport

How much faster is the sport 400 over the 250 tb, both stock, and autos? top speed of both and were can I find a 97ish sport 400? Thanks

Put $600.00 or so into your TB then you'll run witha stock sport. Doc

i have a sport 400 tricked out but i took everything off but the clutch kit and i have beat raptors out till they hit 4 and 5 gear always beat them from the line. gotta love polaris i have a 97 sport 400 96 400 4x4 and a 2004 330 trailboss i just love polaris and the speed they give you out of the box exept the 330 to to good out of the hole but very fun to ride on trails took it out on a 60 mile round tripper for its first run and could not beleive how comfortable it was to ride

wow i bet u the raptor owners were happy to be beat by a 4x4 i love my scrammy 400 is ther any big difference between a sport ans a scrammy 400

Other than the obvious available 4 wheel drive and headlights mounted on the handlebars, i don't think there is much difference at all. In 99 the 400 scrammy's have better suspension than the sport of the previous year. (8.2 front, 8.8 rear). Dry weight for a sport is 475 pounds and the 400 scrammy weighs in at 519. Other than that they share the same motor with the same speecifications. Same tire dimensions, same plastics, same seat, same 4 gallon gas tank, etc.
