What's better? Which is faster? It's for my son, his first Quad. He has been riding his Yamaha SnowScoot since he was 5 and now he is 12. I don't want to put him on a 400 right away and my Ds650 is too big for him even to try but I don't want to wait forever in the trails for him....

I need to decide quick before the Suzuki is gone?..

The 2004 is very clean at $2200

The 2006 Ds is new and they will take my 02 Viper for a trade.

I own both machines and the suzuki is faster top end but the DS beats it out of the hole. in the trails both machines handle great no one is better than the other . the DS is very hard to wheelie the suzuki will come up very easy, very fast. I'm partial to the suzuki great motor, shaft drive, light weight has a throttle stop to control top speed. I don't regret buying the DS but having owned both I would buy another suzuki if I had to do it over
