Hey yal, I just bought a 2005 Grizzly 660, the silver edition one. it has ITP rims and tires, some clutch kit, ramsey 3k winch, piaa lights, and all kind of bags and stuff. Any quick pointers, maintenance issues and stuff I should be looking for. Thanks in advance.

 

Welcome to the club. My friends & I run Grizzlys and have had very few problems with them. Get on it and ride! Keep the fluids changed and the rear pivot arms greased. I have over 2000 miles on it and haven't had any problems. We ride them hard in the mud and the mountains. Their great fun and tough, Good Choice.

does anyone know what size oil filter this thing takes and do I have to use that yama lube oil? How about the other fluids?

 

you can get a fram filter from walmart or advance auto advance also sells valvoline motorcycle oil personally i have always used the yamalube and a yamaha filter because of the cost of the bike the cheaper stuff migt be fine but i have been reluctant to try it good luck

 

yeah you have a point, try to save 10 bucks on a expensive machine, it just isn't worth it. It just sucks the dealer is a hike away but I guess I will go and stock up.
