Default Anyone put Raptor or Cannondale shocks on 400ex?

I just picked up two pairs of front shocks that were taken off their machines when new. One pair came from a raptor 700r, the other pair from a 03 cannondale 440. I'm pretty sure my existing front shocks are beat, so I bought both of these to replace mine. Can anyone tell me which would be the better ones to retro fit onto my bike?
It appears they are all about the same length- 16"-16.25", but the top mount for the raptor shocks would require me to grind them down to fit into the honda brackets, which I wouldn't mind doing if they'll be a better shock than the other ones.
Please don't tell me to go buy another new set of whatever other kind of shocks, these are the two pairs I have, one of which is going on my bike.
Thanks

Neither one of them worked without modifications, and the "crack-n-fails" would have lowered the front end a bit, which I didn't like too much. I ended up getting a pair of 450r shocks. Problem Solved. haha.
