Default 07 Rappy 50 air box issues

Hi all, is there any way to move the air box to the rear of the quad? When ever my son goes splashing through water, it bogs out and takes forever to restart. Probably should of bought a Grizzy 50 for the kinda riding we do. Rappy does fine sep for the water is the big head ache of all. Also are all the after market CDI's the same or is there a differance? Basically what CDI is the best for the $$ Thanks again guys for any help.

I have read that the big guns or rickystator model only raises RPM by 900 as compared to the others at 1000 but I don't know if its true. I have two procomm boxes and both have worked great. We ride alot of H2O also and we have had only a few incidences of the R50 stalling and thats only when the quad has gone thru a pretty deep puddle and been swallowed up by the splash. generally I open the carb. bowl drain for a few seconds, take out the spark plug and crank a few times and dab the connections between the CDI and the quad with a dry rag and all is well. you made me think that possibly the air intake holes in the air box could be taped shut and a home made (PVC) snorkel could be added to the quad.
