Barely crack the fluid drain, then keep the resivoir full and keep pumping it. Once bubbles stop comming out of the fluid then tighten it down while your pumping the brake and your good to go.

close the bleeder, pump up the brakes and hold. Have someone else loosen the bleeder.Do not let go of brake. When the pressure releases tighten the bleeder. Repeat.....
I forgot to mention, you should take your caliper off and clamp the piston shut because you can have air trapped in your caliper and all the bleeding in the world wont get it out unless the piston is fully depressed

Good thinking about collapsing the piston fully fulltilt. Also,if you havea vaccuum pump, you can pull a vaccuum on the end of the bleeder and crack it until you get clear fluid. Make sure you don't let brake fluid get into your vac pump, , it plays heck on them, and do NOT try it by putting a tube on the bleeder and sucking on it, brake fluid is very bad for you. no matter how you do it, keep an eye on the resivore level, , nothing more frustrating than bleeding a caliper only to learn you draw air in from the other end. .
