Well heres the scoop. My buddy has an 05 360 4x4. Under 1000 miles and so on with good condition. Almost new 25 in deep lug mud lights and a warn plow. He screwed up and had a kid and he ows 2300 on the bike. He said he wants to sell it for a few hundred more than that and he said like 2800 with all that. IM sure if i wave 2500 in front of him he will take it. So what do you think, what i want to do is sell the plow (used one winter/how much should i sell it for) and try to sell the atv or just trade it it. I think it has the potential to make me a few hundred dollers. What do ya think. If i can get it for 2500 then sell it for like 3 or more i have a good deal. Think i should try it. ITs a really good bike. NO probs or anything.

The thing with that is see if you can price the bike first! Also, its probably not a good idea to think your going to make money on it ask around see if you can sell it first or the plow also (again see if you can price it) if you want the quad then buy it but, i wouldnt try to think to buy it and make money off it sometimes what you see as a good deal doesnt seem like it to the next person! Let me know how you make out!

well hers the scoop. I went and talked to the dealer about trade in prices and they said 2700 or 2900 trade in. If i can get it for 2500 and try to sell it for like 3100 or so and see what happens. IF worse comes to worse, i can just trade it in. I know my buddy will buy the plow for like 150-200. So if i can get it for 2500 i think ill do it.

if he still owes 2300 to someone else i would check that out too. if he owes to a financial company or bank, there could be a lien on it and if you buy but he doesnt pay it off, you could be stuck for the remainder. (could be wrong but better safe than sorry)

I know I wouldn't want to be your friend...trying to make money off me when I obviously need the money. Why can't he just sell it and make the money? It's kind of alot of work for just a few hundred bucks.

let me rephrase the friend part. The only time i really hang out with the guys is if im riding usally. He is kinda on the wild side and gets in his fare share of probs. Hes a good guy but can be a dumb one. He just had a kid at 20 and is moving to tenn next month. By the way, his moms rich so he doesnt really have much of a money money problem.

You keep forgetting that, depending on the state you live in, you'll have taxes, tags, and registration to deal with. Just in PA w/6% sales tax you have an additional $150 in tax. That'll cut down that profit. You are *** U MING that the dealer will give you that much for a trade. I wouldn't take their word for it unless they saw it.
