I bought a TRX 450R about three months ago. I want to buy a slip on style muffler / pipe that sounds good (throaty) and provides some enhanced performance. I live in California so a spark arrester is a must. Any suggestions?? Products to stay away from?? Where can I get the best deal??

I've spoken with a couple of parts houses and they suggested White Bros. for $399 and Two Brothers $299. When I asked about rejetting the carbuerator both places said that the stock header breathes fine and that unless I change to a high performance air filter there is no need to rejet. What was your experience??

 

I got the DG X2 off- road slip on for 300$. I like it alot and it sounds good. but I tried getting a Two bros first. THey were on back order. I like THe Big Gun racing pipe It really blows.

IMO to be honest I would go with either dasa or sparks as my top 2...Then I would problably choose either an hmf, duncan, white bros, etc.

 

I have an 05 450r and I tried an FMF powercore with H-bomb head pipe and it fell apart on me twice so I switched to a Pro Circuit Ti-4 and it is awesome
