Is there a governor on the new wolvy. I have a 2001 350 wolverine that outruns my 2007. It will only do 53 mph.

 

There is a rev limiter for reverse. The 450 just is not designed to go much faster than that. That is pretty much the limit for the 450 due to the gearing. If you put a pipe, filter and a jet kit in it it will do a little better though.
