hard to say, what kind of riding your doing, fill it up, bring a gas can with you and drive until you run out, that should give you an idea, oh yea, dont forget to fill the gas can first lmao

I know how many miles I am getting on a tank of gas.I filled it up and drove it, until it had to be put on reserve,I got 23 miles before it stopped.I am wondering if this is normal or should I be getting better milage. This was just driving it normal use, some trail riding and track cruising.

I wouldn't think so. I get almost that from 1 gal. if I take it easy. If I go easy I can get between 20-22 mpg. However one time I was in really rough going and was in low-range I only got about 4 mpg... went about 15-17 miles and ran out (I think it took me about 5 hours or more too). But I was up to my belly pan in slush/snow and really hard going (low-range 3/4 to full throttle just to move 2-5 mph.
But under normal conditions you should get way more than 23 miles on a tank of gas. The very lowest minimum would be double that. Were you in low-range and 4 wheel-drive?

Or do you mean from the time you switched over to reserve you went 23 miles. If that is the case then how big is your reserve. If it is one gal then that is good if it is 1.5 gal then that is marginal but ok at 15 mpg.

I hope you got more than 23 miles before you hit reserve, if not you have some issues with a gas leak, or you have some major carb problems
