2007 Jetmoto Sport 250 wheels and battery

What are the wheel offsets like on this bugger? Is a valve stem relocation (or flat stem installation) required to flip the fronts out?
Is the battery SLA or a regular lead acid? Are they shipped charged? Should I just go buy and charge up 2 now before the quad arrives? What size should I get?
Thanks

Can't tell you the wheel offset, but as weak as the tierod ends, and ball joints are I wouldn't want to space out the fronts wider than stock. Just more stress on these weak parts.
The battery is a sealed one, and it came charged. After I started mine for the first time, I did put it on a charger just to be sure it was fully charged. The bike charges the battery just like a car does, shouldn't need to "stock up" on batteries.

Thanks for the advice on the front end. I've heard that it's fine as is and it doesn't need spacers or anything, so I'm going to go with the flow on that.
I have 2 ATVs coming is why I mentioned getting two batteries. If it comes with an SLA battery that is charged, then I'm cool. I was just thinking I would pick a couple up and get them charged so there wouldn't be any waiting when the quads get here.
Thanks for the help again man!

Anyone using an hour counter? Should I get one and hook it into the 12 volt or get an induction one that wraps around the spark plug wire? Anyone know any brand names or websites I could buy one?

Dennis Kirk has several in their catalog. They sell Hardline, Shindy, and Moose brands. I've kicked around getting one myself. Some count the hours and are also a tachometer.

I need to get one of those catalogs! That is the second time you mentioned it, and the online catalog is hard to use.

They will even send you a catalog on CD. I agree, their site is slow loading, and a little confusing.
FAST, and I mean FAST shipping though. I just ordered a set of Swamp Fox tires for my Polaris last Sunday, and had them Tuesday.

Just to put my 2 cents in. I run a tinytac on all my bikes and put them on all my customers bikes. They are a combination tac and digital hour meter. It realy helps people set the idle on there bikes themselves plus they know when it is time for service. As far as Jetmoto bateries all of mine have come empty and you add the acid. If you are having trouble with chinese batteries I use a napa battery maintainer that also desulpherizes the batteries. I have had excelent luck with most of them.
