sounds like your right hub is either striped or your right wheel is just spinning on the rim.

Maybe one of your hubs is stripped. I had that happen on one of my old Banshee's.

look's like I was a little slow typing

hey bama
just for kicks try changing the rear wheels around, just swop sides and see if it makes any difference.

06 vforce dual hmfs, magnum cdi,

hey i would like a little advice. i have been researching springs and clutches. my mechanic tells me it will make my quad harder to handle on the trails. the most of my riding is done on trails but we occassionally like to do a little draggin. some springs have little or no stall wouldnt that work for me, also can you just change the spring without changing the clutches

changing clutch springs is as easy as just unbolting the clutch cover and switch the spring while adding or removeing shims. as for trail handleing thats no way true although it will affect your gas mileage I have a few springs some i put in when I go raceing and some I use whenever im just doing normal rideing, sometimes Ill leave my drag spring in if I know ill be raceing again the next weekend instead of changeing them out twice. i've trail ridden with up to 4.5k stall and it's just anoying when you are with a slow rideing group because the bikes gonna be winding like crazy.
