Something New and Easy!!!

I've got the urge to build my own project quad. Is it possible to build one of these things fairly cheap? What's the easiest type of conversion to do, dirtbike engine in quad frame or what? I want a combination that you can trail ride with, and smoke other quads, and still be dependable. Time is not an issue, I just don't want to spend alot of money. Any help or suggestions will greatly be appreciated!

I would rather not spend an amount of money that I could purchase a good 250r or banshee with. Is it possible to build something like this? How complicated would it be to but a 350x engine in a 250x frame?

My brother just finished his quad, he put a 450 2 cylinder 4 stroke motor in a blaster frame. He bought the whole bike (good copndition) for 800 canadian and took out whatever he needed and took the rest back for a refund at a bike salvage yard type deal. so the motor was 600 and you could put it in any quad frame for pretty cheap

IF you want to build something cheap and fast buy a 250r without a motor and get a 350x and dump that in there .

Yo Holmes,
I did a 250/350x convert. The 250 cost me $1000,the 350x trike was $400. I rebuilt the motor and bought a convert kit from Powroll. I now have a nice bike that has twice the power and touque of stock in a bullit proof engine!! NO REGRETS
