how good is this 5yr extended warranty?
#1
ok , i owned this thing for 2 weeks now , spent 1000 bucks in repairs on a bike that has a 5 yr transferable warranty . i think the dealer is putting the screws right to me....every time i bring it in for something wrong they say warranty not covering that part .....although guy that sold me bike says it 25 bucks a shot and warranty pretty much covers anything , i just replaced speed sensor and that's not covered? anyone can give me some advise? any how the bike still has troubles , somehow the coolant bottle got a pinhole in it ..(from inside to out) i just paid 50bucks to change bottle ,topped up antifreeze , now after about a hr running when i shut bike off ...the hole in top of bottle is hissing steam like crazy ....when i fill coolant bottle to min... mark ...it bubbles the coolant right out of the bottle , and again just hisses steam after that ....now i don't want to fry this engine ....could the thermostat be blocked? i have never seen a coolant bottle act like this , regardless on a car or bike .........this bike is a nightmare , it's a 2003 700 polaris , only got 2300 miles on it , with a engine replaced at 2000 miles , they even changed complete wiring harness because motor was for a 2004 model , but i'm having endless troubles ....when all i wanted was a bike to putt around on ....

is it bubbling when its cold? if so sounds like a head gasket. warranties are as only good as the dealer in my overveiw. if you read one it doesnt cover a hell of alot of anything.

but am Leary now after hearing posts like yours.
