my buddy got his rzr in time for this trip and the dealer delivered it to the mountain for him! now most of you know that I owned a rhino for over a year and just sold it to order a rzr sight unseen. well am I glad I did. my buddy paul just threw me the keys and said go for it. it flat flys for a side by side . we saw 56 in the sand with the thing with deflated tires and I think it had more ! the suspension is awsome. it will just fly through woops that would put a rhino on its lid! . LOL! SO much more power and less than half the noise in the cab with a very cool sounding exhaust tone. its not near as tippy as the rhino which surprised me and I guess its because of the lower center of gravity and the front and rear sway bars. we put 2 guys in it that were over 300lbs each and they were completely comfortable . plenty of leg room, plenty of shoulder room and the best part is that with the stock tires properly deflated, it went up sand mountain just about anywhere! my rhin wouldnt go up ANYWHERE! cant imagine how they would run at sea level. if you were hesitant to get one for some reason let me tell you that I was flat impresed and can't wait till mine shows up in a couple weeks. it wont need any performance mods to make it do what you want it to do. maybe just a sun top and a cd player!

Thanks for the update. Were still anxiously awaiting ours. In the meantime I have to resort to watching this guy ride his around his yard RZR home vid
As far as options we went with the soft bimini top, half windshield, and front/rear bumpers. I really like the looks of the 14" wheel set, but ours will see significant trail use so we decided to keep the stock wheels for now to keep it at 50" width.

yes, stock tires and wheels. I honestly dont think paddles would help. I have a friend who owns a polaris ranger and he has tried several different tire and wheel combos . skat trak haulers on all four wheels, big gnarly mud tires and they all seemed to just make it just dig holes. seems like utv's needs lots of floatation with just a little traction . I think the ideal tires would be some really wide almost bald tires that were run almost flat. my rhino with stock tires aired way down would go up olds hill at glamis faster than the lifted rhinos with big agressive tires and I could go places they couldnt.

I think the razr actually has something that the rhino doesnt and it may be part of the reason someone rolled one. its power. if you have the power to slide sideways and do donuts someone is going to roll one. jed untill you ride one yourself you wont understand how stable they are. they dont lean at all when side hilling like the rhinos do. you sit so much lower in the thing than you do in a rhino. its only 4 inches narrower. if this is a concern of anyones you can remove all four wheels and put them on backwards and you will gain 4 inches of width front and rear and be wide as the rhino. jed you will be welcome to take mine for a ride at ds days and see what you think. I have owned a rhino for over a year and can tell you after riding both that tippy wont be a problem for me anyway but then again I ride fairly sensibly

Widening the track of any ATV/UTV is easy. JaggedX has some wheel spacers out for the RZR wheel spacers Changing the center of gravity however is almost impossible as it is built into the design of the vehicle from concept.

Why worry about changing the center of gravity? I have four people in my Rhino while we dune, and dont worry about it. I would like mine higher, but it will not fit in my trailer. You can add track width to them all. So what your saying is, you want a Rhino, with more power? The problem with that in my opinion is, the RZR will still not climb the hills my Rhino cannot climb, it will just go higher on them. So unless you add the same amount of money to the RZR, it still is not climbing the steep hills. So after you add some track width so it matches the Rhino, and add a charger or turbo, you have, in essence, the same thing. Right?
