Amp Link

I was wondering if an Amp Link is worth the money? I have a 300ex and they say in ads that it makes lap times go down. I understand how it works and all. Does anyone else have one? Was it easy to install?

It is a device that goes on your quad so that there is swivel point in the chain going to your axle from the front sproket. Like on a 250r , 300ex, 250x, banshee, and blaster when you land on the ground it makes the rear suspension hard because it somehow does not have a clear path from the front sproket to the rear axle.

Guys...I would not bother with the amp link...It works well in theory. Providing a strait line for power delivery to the ground. It works in conjunction with your suspension. But it eats bearings like crazy.
The picture in my signature shows an installed amp link...But after a year and I don't even remember how many bearings later....I've had enough. If you keep up with it...and can deal with the now noisy chain rollers...It may help a little...But thats yet to proven.
When you do end up throwing a bearing....You will throw the chain...and most likely wrap it right around everything else...including your case.... My opinion...not worth it at all. Oh yeah...and you have to cut the side engine cover to put it on.
