Trailblazer Has Got To Go. What Would You Get?
#1
My Trailblazer has broke down for the last time. I'm done trying to fix this junker! Time to go look for a new quad. I'd like to stick with Polaris. What would everyone suggest? I've ridden the TB for about 25 hours, so I'm not a complete noob. I'd like to stick with a Trailblazer 250, but I'll need more power soon. I'm leaning towards a Trailblazer 400 just becuase I like the setup of the Trailblazer frame and I know it inside and out now! I found one in great shape with low hourse for $2850. Is this a good deal.

The TB 400 is a 2003 with under 100 hours on it (according to the owner). I have not been able to have him give me a call back, so the jury is still out on this one. From the pics it loos new. There is also a 2003 TB 250 with a new Wiseco top end and a pipe for $1850. I don't know the hours. Looks to be in great shape. I also found a 2002 Scrambler 400 2x4 for $3000, but the guy said he had not ridden it in 4 years which owrries me a little.

I'd go with the TB 400. That's gonna be the one that you'll be able to get the mods out of, if you don any.
One ride on it, and I bet you buy it.

I've found that all the Polaris machines are excellent at holding their position at the bottom of a 300ft, steep, muddy hill. The heavier units tend to stay put the best though, at least long enough to post 20 or 30 times about the problems your having. Kidding
Hope you find a good deal on a new(er) one. Gonna miss the stories.

Keep in mind CDR, anything bigger is gonna be heavier to push back.

HAHAHA you guys are great. That 400 would be much heavier to push lol. Maybe my new posts will be how much I love to acutally ride my quad. The 250 did teach me a lot. Good to learn on (especially how to work on it). I will probably fix it up really good and then sell it cheap and let the owner know what they are getting into. If nobody bites I'll just keep it as aback up or a good tow back home machine lol. I have to wait probably about a month or two to buy a new one. I just started a new job and I don't get paid for another 2 weeks. I'm going to put in a lot of over time, so I should be able to buy a decent one this time. Maybe $2500-$3000 will buy me more than $1500 of a trade will.
