A friend of mine has a 1996 polaris 300 explorer that wont shut off. He had a friend of his put a winch, heated hand grips, and a new box with the kill switch and lights. when he got it back the only way he can get it to shut off is to pull the spark plug wire off of the spark plug. The key and the kill switch will not turn the atv off. everything else works. does anybody have any advice.

 

sounds like he either hooked the kill switch up wrong or left something unhooked.
