Default belt issues

I have a belt question. I smoked the stock belt and bought a new belt from the dealer. The dealer ensured me that he was giving me the right belt (I only asked because they have given me incorrect parts on a few occasions) and I went home and when I took the cover off the belt looked the samebut the part # was not the same. I put it on because they were closed for the long weekend and I was going on a trip 90 kms into a lake on the quad and did not want to miss the trip. Quad ran like **** and was reving high rpm's and felt gutless. The part # on the stock belt was 3211113 and the belt the sold me was 3211106. I am now told the stock belt is for a non-ebs quad and the second belt is the correct belt. I know my quad says EBS on the transmission. Does anyone know what is the deal with these.

Both belts are for the 800's. The 3211106 belt comes on the older 800's (05-06) and the 3211113 come on the newer 800's (07-08). Polaris went to 3211113 belt on the newer one and suppose to be a cheaper price.
