Well, we just bought some land out in the country and are going to get a Four Wheeler. I went to Icon Powersports, a dealer of all makes and looked around and thought that the best choice was the 2007 Honda Rancher 420cc ES Fuel Injected 4x4, I really like this atv and is built very nice. I also already have a Warn T2500 winch that I'm gonna add to It. Do you think this would be a good choice for trail riding, mud riding, and just cruising around on(Thers lots of fields that I will be riding on also)? Do they get through the mud good? My friend has a 650 Brute Force, Will this have the power to perform and keep up with it? Does anyone know the MPG of this ATV? This will be my 1st ATV, but have ridden lots of others. Do you know what kind of financing that would come with this? BTW it is $5500. Thanks Alot

 

Also, Someone said these are not fast. I would like it to be fairly quick, and fast acceleration, about the 60 mph range. DO you think it will do this and compare with speed and performance to my friends 650 Brute Force? Maybe I should just get a Sport ATV but I just like the Idea of a Utility one for the 4x4 and I love the FI. Thanks

 

They will do 60mph, no problem there.....

 

I have a new 420, and it has turned out to be way better than I had ever hoped! Even a 11,000', I have to hold off or it will spin the tires. Great trail quad. Quick and agile. Descent suspension. Only thing I wish is that it were lighter.

Can't comment on mud...we don't have any around here. Had it in a little snow last weekend (at high altitude). Does fine, but I don't think the stock tires are the hot setup for snow. Guess you don't get much snow in Alabama.....

 

Yea, Dont get much snow here but we go riding in the Cahaba River and that is great. There is mud is some places but not now with this drought. Im hopin to get one within the next month wheter new or used. Thanks
