BF spitting fuel
#1
Hi guys i have a 07 BF650 SRA with 300 miles on it.. Rode it today, was going up a steep rocky canyon, was quite hot today, 90+ degree's & all the sudden I see fuel just gushing out of the opening between the plastic for the air cover & the digital guage, what in the hell is there even a fuel line up there?
Has anyone ever heard of these Brutes boiling there fuel?? Only thing I can conclude is the gas in the tank is boiling & it's spitting it out through a breather tube that runs up there below the digital gauge, or is there a fuel line up there that could be loose or broke? If this is the case how can it be fixed, I dont want fuel spitting everywhere when it gets real hot, this thing of course is still under warranty.
Also I wanted to add that after letting it cool for awhile it stoped & then started back up after it got hot so I shut it down again for around 2 hours, by then the day had cooled off & coming back down the canyon I never had the problem again, this is why I think I have a fuel overheating problem. I would assume there is not breather tube for any fuel line & is only for the fuel tank itself? Any suggestions?
