Any YFZ 450 person that fixed theirs up wanna give me any idea about what to get for mine first for better appeal or performance.....I wanted to get hand gaurds to but I don't wanna get a fat pair [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

u can go with air filter or pipe for your performance. with appeal u can go with bumper, grab bar, nerfs, or hand guards.

i guess appeal becuase I can't get a pipe yet or make it loud because my dad has to sleep alot for work and I have to wait for him to get a new job sometime soon or dif sched. or els I can't ride when he sleeps if i get a pipe


but if i would go with a pipe I don't have to much money what would be a good pipe four acouple hundred...and sounds nice

your best bet is to look on ebay for it. you'll save a little money for somthing else.

I have a fmf Titanium 4 and have jeted it with a yz450 needle it is a little loud but i found it on ebay dirt cheap. also if you know how to do things yourself you can advance the exhuast timing to get more power. there is alot you can do to get more power and performance with out putting a big dent in your pocket book if you can do things yourself.

what are some of the first stuff you guys got for you fourwheeler....i kno i wanna get a frunt bumper cause i think it looks sorta lame

 

lets see in order of the list
i bought paddles " ride alot in the sand"
put a fmf Titanium 4 pipe
rejetted the carb yz450 needle #48 pilot 175 main jet
removed the air box lid "still need to reemove air box and install intake tube" no
money
installed a rev box
advanced exhaust cam timing
next i'm going to put a 15 tooth pinion gear.

i'm sort of out of money to to i just finish my sons 50 now it hauls ***.

lucky i have done all the work myself to save money.
HELL yamaha charges 160 bucks just to jet it .
