With the quiet core insert(that I want) will I still need to re-jet?? It comes with jets and a spark arrestor..

For all the looking around I figured it was the biggest bang for my buck,the guy gave me the whole deal for 240.00 (new btw)

 

Yes, you have to re-jet regardless of the quiet core. You should still get 80-90% of the gains with the quiet core installed.

 

Yhea 240 is a fair price, depending on what kind of jet kit it is, the pipe is on ebay most of the time around 215-240. and as jarmoore said you will still have to rejet. I would suggest changing your filter to either a K&N or a Uni filter when you are rejetting and adding the pipe as well
