I put mine on my last ride on my SP450. Its great! It seems like when I push
down on the thumb throttle its more easy acceleration, less drag.

Just cleaned my filter and man what a difference it makes.. Throttle is more responsive and it seem like it runs allot better.. I had the pre-filter on it and it was DIRTY so the air flow was very limited the water was just running off it not through it ..... But now that I took it off and cleaned the K&N filter it runs great....

I keep one of those 3 gallon parts washers just for the K&N's. Keep it filled with a solution of a Simple Green knock-off. As long as you don't get abusive with compressed air, the K&N's last a long long time. Modquad,

Maybe I am misunderstanding, but if you
would spray the "outerware" for water
resistance then wouldn't that NOT allow
air flow thru?

Regards,

It allows air in, but keeps the water out. Or you can just order a "WR" water resistant Outerware. An awesome product.
