if they dont come out with something to compete with the renegade i might have one parked in the garage next year. i love my sportsman but would rather have something umm i dont know exactly like the renegade!! man if it was made by polaris it would be perfect. for years now the only update to the scrambler has been colors and i never really felt polaris had to do anything in this catagory untill this year. they better step up or they can watch abunch of 4x4 sport guys jump ship..

Totally agree with you. There's alot of people who want an updated scrambler. 800cc efi twin, double a-arm front suspension, IRS, sporty Outlaw-ish plastic, and a 2-speed (hi-lo) tranny, and i'm sold.

the dealer show is in july thats when they will show all the new models to the dealers and media i think its on the 15th.
anyways i have been doing some thinking and i bet they drop the pred this year they
have a 450 outlaw and a 525 outlaw and ktm has a straight axel 525 coming "i wonder were the frame is coming from" so were does that leave room for a 500 straight axel
in the polaris line up?

My wish list... HMMM... A Sportsman 6x6 X2 with two independent setups like the Outlaw has in the rear. Just run an output from the middle axle to the rear. You'd have ground clearance, the extra seat, more traction than you would probably ever need and a box that is useful even with an extra rider. The Scrambler needs a massive update. Fuel injected 500cc and 800cc available with the Outlaw rear and the Scramblers 4wd. On the regular Sportsman line add a second A-arm and put adjustable shocks on the front. Other than that, I think the Sportsman is probably the most rugged quad I've ever been on. Oh yes, put a real seat latch on Sportsman??? and on the X2. Those little posts and rubber washer gizmos don't hack it. My .02 worth.
