I have been researching Water Wetter and have a few questions. On the WW site it shows the following temps w/ the following liquids.

50/50 mix - 228*
50/50 + water wetter - 220*
water alone - 220*
water + water wetter - 202*

is it safe to use straight de-ionized/distilled water + water wetter in an atv engine? the WW site says it prevents corrosione, rust, electrolosys and lubricates pumps and seals. anyone have any input please let me know if its safe. heres their site to watch the demo yourself:

Personally I'd run 50/50 motorcycle specific coolant mixture with water wetter if you like. Although water does carry heat more efficiently, anti-freeze raises the boiling point of the coolant. If the cooling system is working properly, it should maintain safe engine temps with 50/50 mix, since that was what it was designed for. From what I've read and heard, water wetter does work as advertised, improving transfer of heat and reducing temps.

Make sure to use a motorcycle coolant, as automotive coolants can have silicates that help keep the cooling system clean, but the smaller seals in motorcycle/quad water pumps won't tolerate the abrasive action.
