Beginning to wonder.

Well after some extensive seat time recently (400 miles total), between the JD Buck and the SP 700 EFI I've come to conclude, my 700 is a buzzbox. I feel like a human tuning fork on it. Not trying to start a war here, but I noticed my ride vibrates waay more than hers does. The JD is so smooth compared to mine. It's almost to the point to where I want to go shopping for a new ride. I've been loyal to Polaris for years, but this has sunken my confidence level some. I know it's not just mine as I've ridden a 500 and 800 also. Maybe it's the PXT radials, but then again the 500 didn't have them. Like I've said I'm not trying to start a war here but has anyone here ridden a different ride recently? I'm about to go start taking some test drives when they're available. Brian

there is a little vibation on them but not so much as it would hurt or even really notice after awhile. the twins vibrate less then the singles in my opinion. my bike vibrates more then my wheeler.

I've never ridden anything other than a Polaris when it comes to 4 wheelers. We bought one back in 2002 for our family business and it's all I've bought since due to the savage abuse it put up with. I bought the JD cause it was a great deal (got it for $4600.00 OTD new) It reminds me of the way older Suzuki motocross bikes vibrated compared to others. They were fast as hell though and the best back then. I kinda wish now I never rode the Buck. I'm really happy with my 700 otherwise. I guess I better not go drive an outty 800 or a new Grizz. I might get get caught up in power steering or just plain power. Brian

dude - have fun with what you have and rememebr that ALL brand have thier ups and downs - you wont be fully happy with any if them. Try taking the JD thru some serious **** then come back and tell us which one you rather have

I totally agree with Brutus! Everybody has there ups and downs. If you have the funds for the outty 800, lol, go for it; I'll get a new car instead. Take that Deer through some real mud, so how it reacts. You could start your kids college fund with the money you saved by buying the 700 popo instead of the outty. As for the deer, I love my JD.....but I only use it once or twice a week to mow my lawn.
Seriously, if you are not liking your ride comfort, get some different rubber. Check some of the mounts to make sure they are tight. Maybe soften up your suspension. Buck up little camper, it'll be alright.
