The vin # is stamped into the plate that joins the frame tubes together behind/below the headlights ..

If you remove the choke assy you can lube the cable with a cable luber & spray lube ..

The manual Choke has some movement if I press it down. How far should it move up if I pull on ****?

Thanks for your help

There is also a nut on the choke lever, where you can adjust the tension giving it a lighter or heavier feel, as you wish....

I have removed the ajustment nut. It probably needs lubrication to soak in.
