Does the foot brake work ok? Is it just the hand brake?

im guessing your talking about the back brake w/ the foot pedal right. the master cylinder on the rear brakes suck on most of our bikes. i lost mine just by sitting over the winter. got part of it back by laying a heavy weight on the pedal over night. at leat it works some what now. just a thought.

the foot brake never worked. it is the hand lever. someone suggested the pads might be glazed over. i'll try new pads and see

If you want the foot brake to work you may want to bleed it. I have had to bleed mine about 4 times and it works for a few months then goes to the footboad again. New pas will probably fix your front brake problems....
