250 ex needs bearings how do i do it

Default 250 ex needs bearings how do i do it

could not figure out where they go in rear toke out axle and need to know how to put them back any pics please send them to me at jasontshearin@yahoo.com

They are inside the axle carrier. You will have to pull the carrier out of the swingarm, heat it up a bit with a propane torch and beat the bearings out w/ a hammer and flat punch. Here is a tip for ya. put your new bearings in your freezer for an hour or so before you put them in. They will be much easier to put in when they are cold. GOOD LUCK and welcome to the forums.

Before you go putting new bearing and seals in the rear I would inspect the carrier for damage and clean it really good and also inspect your rear sprocket, chain, and front sprocket and if one needs replacing replace them all...Clean out the carrier if it is in good shape.
