ok so im getting some new stuff for my 400 because i need a little more top speed and acceleration becauase my friends think there cool with there 450s. I have a fmf powercore 4 slip on right now. I was thinking jets,cdi/rev box and hot cams stage 2 or 1. help please

Well I can tell you that when I get a 400ex I plan on doin a 11:1 high comp std bore piston, stage 1 hot cam, k&n air filter, k&n lid, curtis sparks full exhaust system, a dyno jet kit, and maybe a 450r carb. With all that I still dont expect to be able to run with the 450's. Im hopeing to be in the high 60's to lower 70's which a 450 probably runs mid to upper 70's.

 

Ya, exhaust, jet, hot cam 1, and don't waste money on rev box. that with higher compression will probably take stock 450's
