Octane for 13:1 at 4000ft elevation
#1
I have been running straight 110 since going to 13:1 recently but was wondering if I can get away with 50/50 mix of 110/91 octane at 4000ft?? Just wanted to get some opinions before I start doing any mixing on my next trip out.
Additional info: I'm running #9 plugs, Vortex CDI and HR3 cams.

My dads bike is running 13.5 to 1 and he is mixing 4 gallons of 110 to one gallon of 91 and it runs real well. If you decide to change your mix to 50/50 make sure you richen up your jetting to avoid a lean condition.

thanks, I feel a little better now about mixing. What elevation does your dad ride at?
I'm thinking my jetting should be fine as I only intend to mix when I'm at elevation +4000ft. Going to stick with straight 110 at sea level....
