The last post on a previous post mentioned compression and your right but in the wrong direction...we did every single thing that you could do and we kept coming up with the same diagnosis...timing is off because we were not getting the compression we needed at the right time...so after two straight weeks we gotit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


we pulled the decompressor off the cam completlely and put the cam back in...it was not opening when the bike was at top dead center...without it it fired beautifully ...we danced we sang...we RODE but not too hard becasue we just bored it out...ha ha I wish I could have had the look on my hubby's face when it fired... thanks for everyone's help and I hope this helps anyoone who has trouble with the 2002 trx 400ex ..It was a moment....
