honda cr 80 mix

my buddy just got a 01 cr 80 and needs to know if he can mix normal 2 stroke oil you get from a gas station or does he have to mix like yamalube or torqo?

I use those 2 stroke oils in my weed eater or chainsaws only. I would recommend a good grade oil for the bike.
