The rengade 500 will have better suspension, handling, and alittle more top end speed. I think the bruteeforce 650 tops out at 65 and the rengade 500 will at least top out at 70. id go with the renegade 500. Both awesome atvs tho.

 

Both will be a HUGE improvement over the Hawekeye. But ones a sport ATV with 4WD while the other is a Utility ATV. You'll need to decide which style suits you better. Personally, I need racks and like the Utility stying better. But if you're mostly concerned with power, either one will have about 50% more than the Hawkeye.

650i does not top out at 65. More like 70-71mph. While the rene 800 would be another story that renegade 500 is not going to outpower a 650i in any department. Kawi likely gave the 650i the same improvements as the 08 750 got so id wait to see what the '08 650i has instore. Later

 

Iwas just guessing on the bruteforce 650 top speed. The outty 500 tops out at 68 so im sure the renagde 500 will go at least 70 which is close to the top speed u said that ur bruteforce 650 tops out at. The 08 bruteforce 650i want get the efi only the the 750 will.
