2006 Raptor 700 question, Please Help...
#1
Last weekend I took my raptor off the trailer too head onto the trails (Michigan). When I down shifted into first gear I was able to go down another gear into reverse without turning the reverse ****. Can anyone tell me why this is happening??? I will admit it was nice when I needed reverse but would love to know why it is happening...
Thanks for the help,
Jim

You have to turn the **** to get it in reverse.
If you didnt you would be able to downshift into reverse moving and that wouldnt be good.

i was lean to think the switch is not working right. make sure it is not stuck open by getting a volt meter and checking the ohm and make sure there is none when the switch is closed. just my .2 cents
