TRX500FM Headlight alignment
#1
I am working on the top headlight that is mounted on the handlebar and is encased within the instruments.
The reason I am now trying to re-align this headlight is because I have just replaced it due to a crack in the previous one from a roll-over.
If anyone knows a point of reference to where this headlight should be aimed as it is not explained in the service manual I'd appreciate it.
Thank you

Assuming you mean up and down, I like to have mine set so it lights things up slightly above what the lower headlights do. Just set it based on the light pattern on the garage wall, then test ride and adjust as needed to your preference. Make sure it isn't set so high as to blind other riders.
I kind of wish someone would make a little roll cage out of small tubing, like the older ones had... The meter and the headlight are pretty vulnerable to damage in even a light tipover.
