After hours and hours of research I still can't decide on a 2 up machine. I'm stuck between the max and polaris x2. I will be riding 2up about 50% of the time. I'm not looking for a speed demon, I want to trail ride two people. Most of the time at lower speeds. I like the max but have heard many complaints about the frame strength and leaky cvt cover. Yes polaris has it's weaknesses too. I'm looking at the 500's for both. Don't want to go higher than that.

1. Is the frame as weak as I've heard about?
2. Are parts hard to come by?
3. I've always repaired my own stuff (cars, atv's etc) How DIY friendly is the max?
