So this twist throttle i want is meant for 28mm carbs or larger (up to something high 30--38mm?--something like that) My carb is keihin ptg23... that is a 23mm i think. Could i bend some internals of my carb if i decided to use that certain twist throttle?

Do you have any idea of why they might set limits for carbs that it should be used on?

PS: What does a hot-start do? i know it is supposed to be used when the engine is really hot, but what does it do? lean it out? open exhaust valves? that was off-topic but i was just wondering, cuz i saw it on 250 mx bikes
