I have a 91 Banshee that has been heavily modified. The stock CDI died about 7 years ago so the only after market unit was a MSD. So I purchased it. It died two years later and about only 50 hrs of riding. (son was born). Talked to MSD they helped me out with a replacement. Just died last month. Not a whole lot of time on either unit. Has anybody ever even used the MSD? And has anybody had this much trouble with Banshee ignitions? And last does anybody have any recommendation or experience on other after market CDI boxes?

 

just go to e-bay and put a stock 1 back on,if you want to change your curve just put a timing plate on.

also.. kawiking... you should try a 10 paddle and a +4 swingarm

 

i wanted a ten paddle but i got a good deal on my 9 paddle triple buffs.. i think i have enough motor now for a +6.. but yes i shpuld have went 4... i never thought to much swing arm could hurt u. just didnt want it to stand up when i drag raced. i just sit on the back of the seat and let her eat !!
