'06 Raptor 700r Mods
#1
I have a 700r that I am ready to mod. What I plan to do first is full HMF exhaust w/ a dobeck commander. The next thing I would like to do is lower the whole atv or widen the rear for better trail riding. I am having a problem w/ the front end wanting to shoot out of the burms of trails. Maybe the holeshot tires will help. Any suggestions? I have plenty of power, just want to be able to keep up with a buddies cannondale in the turns. I also have a K&N filter w/ case off, spark arrestor taking out but will have full exaust in 2 weeks.

You could add a set of YFZ 450 front shocks, they will lower the front about 1 to 1 1/2 inches and slightly widen the front (less than a inch).
Then add the GT Thunder linkage to the rear. This will level it back out and claims to give 1 inch extra travel.
The combination gives the 700 a much lower stance and greatly increases the handling.
Here is a pic next to a 450 and you can see the lower front.

i dont know if you are getting a smokin deal on that hmf but i whould suggest to spend the extra money and get a dual setup, you wont be dissaponted. i have the white brother pro alumium and i wish i whould have got the dual setup. its not that much more maybe like 150-200 more than a single and give you mad hp. i think with barker duals, k&n and a efi controler you will make like 54 hp.
