I have a 1999 250 2 stroke Trailboss. It has been sitting for 3 years in my garage. I just replaced all of the filters ( air, fuel ect). I drained all the gas and oil out and put in a new battery. It would turn over but would not start. So, I pulled the carb out and cleaned it. It still will not start and now that I got the card back when I try to start it or even pull start it, I can pull 1 or 2 times then it seems to bind up on something!!!! Does anybody have any ideas what I might try next??? Oh, it was not binding up before I removed the starter! Any suggestions would be great.

 

I would try a new plug,,, if you haven't already. And, did you pull the starter drive gear with the starter? If not, that's probably the cause of the binding.

 

did you check to make it was firing, has good spark and make sure gas was getting thru?
