[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img] I bought my kids a 110cc Atv from Best Price ATVs. And anyone who has had dealings with them understands after the sale you are on your own. But anyway it has been ran very very little and one day my son shut it off and it didnt want to start . after cranking until I nearly melted the starter down it started one more time and that was it. I changed the plug , checked the fire and fuel , seems ok. Does anyone have any idea ??????????????? Is there a common problem with these Chinese engines. I can`t find anybody around here who will even consider working on it.

 

Check the compression, if the compression does not feel right might need the valves adjusted.

 

send me your e-mail address and i'll send you a check list of possible things, also the very first thing i would check out would be gas cap, remove it and see if it starts, some of them doesn't vent properly, second would be valve adjustment make sure you have .004 valve clearance on both intake and exhaust. also next time when you're trying to start it, use starting fluid, you won't burn up the starter motor and if it starts then you know it's eaither a fuel deliverly problem or valves, if it doesn't start then you know it's ignition
