Default Grizzly, Rhino, or Big Bear?

i'm planning on buying a new atv in the next month or two. which one should i choose? i use atvs a lot for work around the farm a lot, i don't ride tight trails, and i go muddin a lot, but not deep mud, and i don't want one of those atvs that's really high centered that go up on two wheels in almost every turn. price isn't an option. which one would suit me best? thanks for any help.

If money is no issue, then you have already crossed the Big Bear off the list. The other two machines you list have so much more to offer. I had a '97 Big Bear and upgraded to a new 03' Grizzly 660. About 5 months ago I sold my Grizzly and purchased a 07' Rhino. I needed/wanted the Rhino to plow with during the winter. I fully enclosed the cab and installed a heater. In Alaska, heat is a big issue when plowing for 3-4 hours at -15f. I love my Rhino but I do miss the ATV feel you loose with the Rhino. So, last week, I bought a new 07' Grizzly 700fi with EPS. I now have 105 miles on it and 500 miles on the Rhino. I love them both for different reasons. The Rhino is slower (stock top speed 41mph), warmer in winter (engine heat and heater with enclosed cab), wider (may be an issue on tight trails), Heavier (may be an issue in deep mud...you said you really didn't do deep mud), Can carry 450lbs in the dump bed (the best feature IMO), and way more comfortable on the trail (deep washboard riding and fast speeds are a problem). On the other hand, The Grizzly has power steering (the best innovation to hit ATVs in a decade), efi (great for cold mornings and high altitudes), new plush seat (now has a better ride then Polaris), more nimble than a Rhino, etc...If money is truly no issue, I would buy both. They are two different machines that cater to two completely different markets. Confused??? Sorry!!!

You may want to wait to see what changes the Rhino has for the new year. Rumor has Yamaha putting power steering (greatly needed) and the 700 fuel injected 4 stroke in the Rhino. If you get the Rhino, are you going to upgrade your tires and wheels or just stay stock? I put about $4k in aftermarket parts in to mine when I bought it. I still have a ways to go but she looks sweet. I have not seen another one around here (South-central Alaska) that even comes close. Although, my local Yamaha dealer is building a "show" Rhino for the upcoming State Fair at the end of the month. They said it would go for about $20k. You can sink a fortune into aftermarket stuff if you don't watch yourself. I have seen several Rhinos on the Internet for sale from $25k - $35k.

If you get the Rhino and add a windshield, make sure it is a folding one. The cab gets really warm in the summer (engine heat). Email me ( h2os@gci.net ) and I will shoot you some pictures of the Rhino and the new Grizzly. I am taking them both out today. Taking the family on a Glacier run. 45 miles round trip. Lots of sand, mud, wooded trails, sand dunes, gravel flats, deep water crossings, big rocks, and ice pack. Should be a blast.
