The cop out is because I reckon Can-Am thinks the market is in the Sport 4x4 arena and not the bigblock sport bikes since the discontinued the DS 650. The least they could do would have been to revamped the DS 650 if they werent gonna throw one of their big powerplants in the chassis.

The DS 650 is done!

What a waste!

 

It's too bad the R&D guys of these Mfg. can't see what's right in front of their face, Billions of dollars of revenue lost cause they won't give the public what they want.
Just look at Honda as well, and how many trx650ex's they could have sold like since the Raptor and Ds came out, they would not of been able to keep up making them, it would out-sell any bike in their line-up.
It is very sad, not everyone wants 450's, there is no replacement for a big-block torque monster period.
