I have an 07 Wolverine...I went out to check my oil because im changing it tomrrow...The oild is GRAY..WTF does that mean?

 

a buddy of mine told me that i got water in it...How bad is that? How the hell did it get in!!!!!!!! Sorry guys, just need some help if you had this issue.

 

Water in oil is a creamy brown. I have seen it a slight gray color.
More than likely it's water.
How bad is that? Well, that would depend on how much water is in the oil and how long you rode it with the oil in the engine. could be nothing, could be problems.
How did it get in there? I have no idea, I did not ride the quad. Did you ever pretend your quad was a boat? Ever see your kid around your quad with a water hose? LOL
Anyway, just do an oil flush (look it up) and go for a ride.

 

I do take the quad through lakes and mud holes...I just dont see how it got in the oil...Is there a mod I can do to prevent this?

quickest way for water to get into your engine is threw your air box.

 

Thanks guys..I just did an oil change and wow...it was dirty as hell lol. All clean now.
