Hello all.New to the site and I have a question.Does anyone know whats a good pipe for the grizzly 450? It sounds weak to me a my friends are telling me to get a nice pipe or a new whole exhast system.aNYBODY?

 

HMF Utility series is a good one IMO

 

I tried that but everytime i call a powersports dealer they all say the same thing,there isnt a pipe available for the grizzly 450,a guy tried to sell me a pipe for the rhino 450.I called fmf racing and they didnt even know that a 450 grizzly exists?

 

The 06 kodiak is the exact same quad my HMF was for an 06 fit just fine

 

Really,Thats crazy cuz everyone i talked to says it wont fit...So you purchased a pipe for a Kodiak 06 and it fits on your Grizzly 450?

yes the 05-07 kodiak/Grizzly are the same machine. Its just a name change. 08 has some changes with the receiver and rear brakes.

 

Here is the exact auction I bought my pipe from that is running on my quad now. It sounds great but I have the quiet core installed so not much louder than stock.

If you check yamaha's parts diagrams you will see the two quads have the same part # for the muffler so no worries man. Glad I could help and this goes for all other accessories too. All my mods were ordered for a 06 Kodiak and they worked great.
